Business Development Manager (Maritime Defence Domain)

My client is looking to recruit a driven and experienced Business Development Manager to develop business within the Defence Maritime Domain. Reporting into the Senior Business Development Manager you will be responsible for developing and delivering business winning strategies, in line with the company strategy, to meet revenue, profit, order intake and growth targets.

Successful candidates are likely to have previously served within the Royal Navy and will have subsequently developed a demonstrable track record of Business Development, creating relationships with Front Line Command, DE&S and Defence Primes.

You will have the ability to create value propositions to sell added value Consultancy solutions and services, ideally gained within a Defence Consultancy or IT Service Provision environment. You will have excellent written and oral communication skills with the determination and ambition to meet challenging revenue targets.

Experience in any of the following areas would be highly beneficial:

Background in Engineering, Information Technology, Logistics or Asset Management
Experience within a consultancy environment
Experience in a Front Line Command or MoD HQ environment
