Salary: £15.6 – £19.2 per hour
HCL Fairstaff are currently recruiting for a Band 5 Team Leader with an immediate start. To be successful within this role you will require prevous NHS experience within recruitment & selection in a complex NHS environment. You should also have managerial experience.
The Role:
The aim of the role is to be responsible for supporting the Senior Recruitment Manager in delivering the trusts non medical recruitment strategy by ensuring the provision of a high quality and cost effective recruitment service. To be responsive to the needs of managers and staff throughout the Trust whilst ensuring that every recruitment episode is dealt with in an efficient, customer focused way and filled with agreed times to hire targets.
Main Duties and Responisibilities include:
*Working with Trust managers and the recruitment teams to offer a professional advice service
*Develop an understanding of the particular recruitent needs of service managers identifying areas of recruitment difficulty and researching the reasons for difficulty and proposing creative solutins.
*To manage the day to day recruitment processes, from forward planning, candidate attraction assessment selection and taking responsibility for the office management.
*Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of the service pressures and demands faced by front line services by maintaining regular contact with key managers across the organisation.
Qualifications and Specification:
*Educated to degree level, or equivalent in relevant experience
*CIPD qualification ( or working towards one)
*Strong knowledge of NHS Employment Checking Standards
*Extensive specialist knowledge of recruitment legislation and employment law.
*Proven Team Leadership and motivational skills
*Fully competent in the use of NHS Jobs and the Electronic Staff Record job sites
