Assistant Accountant – (Football Foundation)

Assistant Accountant, London, offering a salary of £38,400 – £48,000depending on skills and experience

The Football Foundation is seeking a part-qualified accountant to joins its’ Finance team as an Assistant Accountant. The Foundation has a high profile and invests funds raised from the FA, Premier League and Department of Culture, Media and Sport into grass roots initiatives.

Working directly for the Head of Accounting the successful incumbent will support the delivery of financial support for the Funded programmes.

Assistant Accountant Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in the production of financial and budget reports
* Produce monthly departmental account reports
* Take ownership for the end-end grant claim process
* Manage all communications across grant applicants
* Manage payment against set criteria

Assistant Accountant Experience Required:

* Close work with non-finance professionals
* Having worked on monitoring budgets and highlighting variances
* Experience in production of reporting packs 

Qualifications / Skills Required:

CIMA/ACCA or AAT part qualified

Excellent Excel skills
