Assistant Accountant

Orka Financial is pleased to be working with a successful, growing services business based in Reading who is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their team.

The role reports directly to the Finance Manager and has responsibility for day-to-day accounting and monthly reporting. Duties include; production of accounts, month end reporting to deadlines, cash management and forecasting, processing invoices and expenses, payment runs, VAT returns and other ad hoc duties as required.

You will have experience of producing accounts up to trial balance, working within an accounts environment and delivering to tight deadlines.
It is essential you have strong communication skills and the ability to liaise confidently at all levels. Being able to work well as part of a team is also necessary.

The role is based in Reading and is paying up to £29,400 – £33,000 + benefits
