Assistant Accountant

Our well established Hoddesdon based client require a part qualified Assistant Accountant. As the Assistant Accountant your responsibilities will include the following: Maintaining the fixed asset register, Inter-company reconciliations, completion of intrastate/EC sales return, VAT return, preparation of management accounts and general support to the Business as required. You will be working as part of a small finance team, working closely with the Financial Controller and senior management. To be considered for this role you will have previous experience in a similar all round role, good Excel and systems skills, and the ability to work as part of a team and build relationships at all levels. You�ll have sound commercial awareness, be highly analytical and be confident dealing with people at all levels. You will ideally be studying AAT or perhaps you have moved on to CIMA or ACCA.
