Artworker / Graphic Designer

My client is a market leader in retail design and bespoke display manufacture. They specialise in the design and manufacture of retail display equipment and visual merchandising products. Working with an array of plastics, wood, metal and printing agents, They provide their customers bespoke retail display solutions through innovative designs using high quality materials They are now looking for a Graphic Designer to join their current team.

The role of Artwork & Graphic Designer is vital in respect of providing accurate artwork print and graphic files particularly with retail point of sale, equipment design and visual merchandise based products.

• Liaising with clients to understand their brief
• Using artistic creativity to deliver the client’s brief
• Working with the in-house CAD designer to produce a workable design
• Work with, and at times operate the large format and flat bed printers

Candidate profile:

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Strong Adobe Illustrator experience
• Have an understanding and experience of ‘point of sale’ materials including timber, acrylic and various print media
• Must be organised and methodical and have a proactive approach to tasks
• Have the ability to interpret customer design requirements
• Be competent in artwork set up process pre-print
• Have knowledge of flatbed printing processes/flexible media printing/vinyl cutting and an understanding of Zund cutting and cardboard engineering.
