About the Role:
This Artworker / Graphic Designer role supports the creative in house design studio by handling a variety of artworking briefs across experiential, print and digital working across the organisation.
As an Artworker / Graphic Designer you will help to shape and deliver marketing communications for CIM, meeting project objectives and their standards of excellence at all times. Within the role you will manage a high stream of design artworking projects from brief and concepts to completion and production of final artwork, helping to deliver continuous improvement of design processes to ensure efficient working practice.
In addition you will remain informed of new developments and techniques related to marketing, design, advertising and branding and have demonstrable abilities in creating effective communications across a range of disciplines. Capable to artwork across offline (print) and online (digital) communications including email and web, you will have the ability to interrogate a brief and develop creative solutions in partnership with the marketing and communications teams.
Furthermore you will deliver work to schedule and agreed deadlines and keep the Creative Team Manager informed of project status.
About You:
To be successful in this role you will hold a Diploma, HND or BA in Graphic Design, with a high proficiency in a range of design software such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Office, InDesign, Acrobat. With a knowledge and working understanding of prepress and print (print production techniques and requirements) and supplying online assets, you will have demonstrable experience of design and production either agency or in-house design studio in a graphic design or Artworker position.
In addition you will have a proficiency with PC and Mac operating systems, and with client management and project management within an agency environment. You will also be proficient with typography and corporate in house branding.
Highly organised, you will have the ability to balance multiple projects and work efficiently, and work effectively across cross-functional teams. With a keen eye for detail and strong time management skills, you will have an interest in marketing, design, advertising and branding, with a practical business approach. You will also have a good understanding of creative processes and techniques, and an up-to-date understanding of digital channels and their use within a marketing context.
