Zachary Daniels Retail Recruitment are looking to recruit a Junior Graphic Designer for a leading retailer.

This retailer specialises in DIY and Homewares and has big plans for growth. Core departments include kitchenware, vacuums and kitchen appliances, steam cleaning, cleaning chemicals and laundry products, garden care, outdoor leisure, DIY tools and materials, home office and technology.

Summary of Role;

To create an interesting and commercially effective shopping experience. Also, to design and build digital graphics and content across the company website and through digital media channels to drive traffic to the website and enrich the customer shopping experience in line with the marketing strategy.

The Junior Graphic Designer candidate will ideally be of graduate calibire with a strong portfolio. A creative thinker who can deliver elegant and eye catching design and artwork in a dynamic fast paced environment with a thorough approach and an excellent eye for detail.

The Junior Graphic Designer is responsible for;

– Graphic Design.
– Design and maintenance of Wedsite Content.
– Social Media.
– Product Pages
– Landing Pages
– Newsletters

Key Skills required;

– Highly proficient user of Indesign, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Dreamweaver.
– Use of Mailchimp or equivalent software.
– Able to follow and interpret creative templates and brand guidelines.
– Flexible and able to take briefs verbally and from word, excel spreadsheets and marked up proofs.
