Graphic Designer / Digital Art Worker

An exciting opportunity has now arisen for a Graphic Designer / Digital Art Worker to join this prestigious company based in Cheadle, Cheshire.

Christy began its life back in 1850 and over the years has become a classic English brand; almost as English as Strawberries and cream! Their sumptuous bed linen heralds high thread counts, intricate embroidery and beautifully woven designs in classic and contemporary styling. The company is proud of their rich heritage, showing their first towels at the Great Exhibition at Crystal Palace in 1851.

As a Graphic Designer / Digital Art Worker your duties will include:

* To complete all graphic design work for the Brands (Christy, Kingsley, Ditton Hill, Humming Bird) including brochures, digital, web wireframes, packaging & collateral.
* Creating content from a brief.
* Creating content from concept to artwork.
* Work within the parameters of Brand guidelines.
* Great attention to detail and creative flair.
* Time/Task management with the ability to prioritise tasks based on the placement media.
* Highly innovative and creative with the ability to create artwork from scratch and develop new ideas.
* Website Slides and Banner Creation
* Product Packaging
* Point of Sale
* Adverts for Print and Web
* Social Media Digital Collateral
* Image re-sizing and creation of cut outs
* Social Video Content Editing (desirable)
* Brochure content
* Website Wireframes

An ideal Graphic Designer / Digital Art Worker will hold the following skills and experiences:

* Advanced user of all Photoshop Creative Suites.
* Mac User.
* Relevant degree not essential but ideal.
* Proven experience in an agency or in-house.
* Must be able to show a strong, creative portfolio of work.

Your working hours will be Monday – Thursday, 8.45am – 5pm, Friday 8.45am – 3pm with daily lunch break of 30 mins Mon, Tues, Wed & Fri, lunch break of 1 hour Thursday

In return you will receive a salary of £30,000 – £36,000dependent upon experience, plus 25 days per year plus statutory bank holidays.
