Application Support Analyst (1st/2nd Line Support) – Epsom – Permanent – Good salary + benefits

Our client, based near Epsom, is looking for an Application Support Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis and take responsibility for the following:

*1st & 2nd line support for all applications and services ensuring that my clients customers are afforded a high quality of service.
*Set up an maintain system account roles, parameters and interfaces in compliance with prevailing regulations,
*Monitor calls and outcomes against agreed SLA and produce statistics and recommendations to improve service stability and customer satisfaction.
*Maintain and enhance relationships with UK IT department colleagues, customers and suppliers.

The successful candidate will have the following skills/experience:

*2-3 years’ experience of first/second line application support
*Some exposure to IT project management techniques
*A working knowledge of the software development lifecycle
*ITIL Foundation and Prince 2 Foundation – highly desirable
*Financial Services experience is highly desirable – (consumer finance, personal finance, retail banking, consumer credit, leasing, instalment credit, asset finance or finance house)

Please note that this client operates on a shift basis and therefore some flexibility with regards to hours will be required. Shifts are 8:00am to 4:30pm, 9:00am to 5:30pm and 9:30am to 6pm.

My clients offices are based close to Epsom but not easily reached via public transport therefore car owners/drivers are highly desirable.
