Account Manager – FM Software Solutions

Salary: £72,000 per year

The company is a well established and successful international supplier of software solutions for CAFM, Building Information Management, IWMS and related applications. Significant growth plans have led to the requirement for an experienced Account Manager to manage an established client base primarily in the London and south east area. As a subsidiary of a major enterprise, the company has offices and partners in strategic locations worldwide.

You will manage client relationships and generate additional revenue from new functionality, new releases, additional licences and value added services including consultancy and training.

Responsibilities are:

• Managing and mentoring small successful and knowledgeable UK sales team focused on existing clients.
• Achievement of revenue targets through account management within a defined territory
• Ongoing development of existing client accounts to generate revenue and to ensure that clients maximise the use of their application(s)
• Proactive management of the welfare of these clients in relation to the company’s overall client strategies
• Liaising with the company’s executives/directors where appropriate on new sales opportunities
• Liaising with helpdesk consultants for the timely resolution of outstanding client issues and the upkeep of all client configuration information
• Other reasonable duties in order to execute effective account management

Candidates must have:

• Excellent track record in business achievement and account management in a software solutions or facilities management environment
• Experience of managing and mentoring other team members
• Good negotiation skills
• Well organised and good time management skills
• IT technical awareness
• Good communication, presentation and client facing skills

Knowledge of CAFM, IWMS or CMMS applications at a software supplier or FM services provider would be of particular benefit but not essential. Products such as Tririga, QFM, FSI Concept, Planet, Manhattan, Archibus, Maximo, Explorer, Qube, Horizon, Tramps, Propman etc would be especially relevant.

This is an excellent company with high quality products. The package is expected to represent a basic salary of £72,000and an OTE of £95,000 plus benefits depending on experience, although a higher reward will be considered for a truly exceptional candidate. The position is office based in south west London and candidates must reside within a reasonble commuting distance as attendance at the office is required for at least part of the week. You must also be able to travel occasionally throughout the UK.
