IT Sales Account Manager – IT Reseller – Stockport
£23,000 – £27,000 + OTE + Benefits
Penguin Recruitment is working alongside a leading IT reseller, who are looking to continue their hard work and success in 2013 by recruiting a high calibre IT Sales Account Manager to join their team near Stockport. The company specialise in the implementation of security solutions from leading vendors including Sophos, Checkpoint & McAfee.
This is a new business orientated role that will see you working from an existing database, looking to leverage new business opportunities from current and lapsed accounts. You will also be expected to source new business through a range of proactive outbound activities. This is a solutions based role, so as well as selling boxed products and licenses, you will be also be selling a range of technical consultancy services.
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience working in a sales role for an IT reseller or security specialist, although applications are welcome from outstanding candidates from other IT backgrounds (distribution / vendor etc) who can demonstrate consistent billing history and a stable career to date. From a personal perspective, it is essential that you have the desire, hunger and ability to succeed in a competitive, new business sales environment. You will have great communication skills, a real ability to close, and a desire to work as part of a highly motivated team.
A basic salary of between £27,600 – £32,400is on offer dependent upon experience, along with a fantastic commission scheme which should give you first year earnings in excess of £35k.
