The Role

Working as a key member of the Domains Team at 123-reg, you will be required to give first class customer service to a diverse range of customers.

You will need to be patient, understanding and take a logical and pragmatic approach in presenting solutions to our customers.

You will be charged with solving various technical issues our customers have and solving billing and accounting queries on customers accounts where appropriate.

You will be required to liaise with senior members of staff as appropriate and have the necessary communication skills to raise escalations correctly.

Essential Skills/Knowledge:

  • Strong GCSE grades (or equivalent)
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Cool demeanour and patient manner
  • Customer focused approach and willingness to go the extra mile
  • A keen interest in computers and internet technology
  • A willingness to learn.

Desirable Skills/Knowledge

  • IT related qualifications
  • Knowledge of DNS and how it works
  • Knowledge of Domain names, different extensions and registries globally
  • Knowledge of SSL and the issuing bodies
  • Knowledge of SEO and what you can do to optimise your website within search engines.
  • An understanding of HTML, CSS or JavaScript
  • Experience of managing a website
  • Knowledge of 123-reg products.
