Salary: £26,000 per year

The PiXL Club, Partners in Excellence, works with over 1400 secondary schools, 500 Sixth Forms, 50 PRUs and 200 Primary Schools. Our focus is on raising standards at GCSE, A level and Key Stage 2. The PiXL Club aims to support the promotion of excellence for pupils. It is determined to do all it can to improve life chances for young people through improved educational achievement and enhanced self-esteem in order to connect them to worthy progression routes in the next stage of their education.
Our operational team is a vital part of our service providing efficient, round the clock, personal interaction with our schools. They are knowledgeable, committed, focused and engaged administrators who feel part of the PiXL family and contribute significantly to its success.

We are looking to appoint an administrative assistant who will support our Operations team (currently a team of 6). The role will include some of the following duties:

• Dealing with and sorting out school login queries.
• Booking taxis, train travel and accommodation.
• In charge of the ordering and maintaining the office stationary and supplies.
• Welcoming visitors.
• Overseeing incoming and outgoing post.
• Looking after the office calendar in terms of meeting rooms and communicating
this regularly to the Operations team.
• To assist with the administration involved in conferences, meetings and PiXL
events.
• To assist in finding event venues when required.
• Work as part of the operational tem under the direction of the Operations and
Communications Manager.

Essential Skills:
• Ability to multi task and work under pressure.
• High level of flexibility.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Pro-active and positive approach to work.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organisation skills with attention to detail.
• Have a good level of excel, word and PowerPoint and also ideally Key note on
Macs.
• Good interpersonal skills.

Qualifications / Experience
• Ideally educated to degree level (if not then a minimum of A levels and relevant
work experience required).
• Minimum 1 years relevant work experience.

This is a unique position and opportunity. The successful candidate will be someone who can understand our principles, work ethic and attitude as well as fits in with the team.

The main office is based in Oxford Circus; a minimum of 4 days per week would need to be spent at the office. The other day can be working from home.
Working hours: Flexibility over working hours is required, the core office hours are 8am – 4.30pm term time plus 4 weeks however the role does require you to be happy to check and reply to emails out of these hours.

The salary will range from £26,000depending on experience (term time plus 4 weeks)

The closing date is Wednesday 26th August, with interview scheduled for week commencing 31st August.
