Salary: £26,664 – £36,664 per year

The Coventry, the UK’s 3rd largest Building Society, are currently recruiting for a Regulatory Reporting Accountant to join the Finance Team. As a business we have seen continual success & growth and in line with this our Finance department has expanded, creating the need for more talented professionals to join the team.

Working as part of an expert finance team, you will report into the Head of Regulatory Reporting. Your role will be to complete the Society Regulatory Returns, assist in the development of new reporting requirements and maintain strong controls over the team’s processes and procedures.

Key areas of responsibility will include, but not limited to:

• Compilation of the Society Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) and Bank of England monthly and quarterly reports.
• Assisting the Senior Regulatory Reporting Accountants with reporting to the EBA for FINREP & COREP.
• Assisting the Head of Regulatory Reporting with any future developments in regulatory reporting requirements.
• Facilitating the reporting requirements of treasury transactions that support reporting to the PRA and Bank of England returns.

To be successful in this role you will have 2 years experience of working within an accounts or finance role coupled with knowledge and awareness of balance sheet and income statement balances. You will have excellent interpersonal skills as you will be required to engage with internal & external stakeholders. Excel skills are a requirement including vlookups, pivot tables and IF statements. Knowledge of treasury Instruments would be desirable but not essential.
