Accountant

We are small but fast growing accountancy practice based in City of London. We are looking for an accountant in our team. The role is excellent opportunity for anyone who has extensive knowledge of SMEs and owner managed business. You will be responsible to look after portfolio of clients for their all the accountancy compliance, support and advice. You must have experience of using cloud based accounting system and other IT systems.
Responsibilities:
 Preparation of year-end statutory accounts.
 Preparing personal and corporation tax returns.
 Maintaining all the due dates.
 Monthly, Quarterly management accounts preparation.
 Helping management with financial forecast and budgetary reviews.
 Liaising with Clients, HMRC, Companies and other bodies.
 VAT return preparation and Review.
 Bookkeeping records.

Person Specification:
• Be newly qualified.
• Strong background of IT knowledge particularly cloud based accounting system.
• Attention to detail, time management, result driven, Deadline-Oriented.
• Pro-active attitude.
• Acts as a role model for the team and values others expertise.
• Provides assistance, shares experiences, provides meaningful feedback and proactively supports the development of others.
