Salary: £16.8 per hour
We have an excellent opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join a large public sector organisation as a Financial Accountant. This is a permanent opportunity that offers variety and the chance to gain invaluable skills.
The Financial Accountant will be responsible for the day to day management of the capital section and taking a significant role in the accounting for leases, PFI contracts and managed service contracts, ensuring the integrity of all systems, financial data and development of the fixed asset database.
It is not an essential requirement but if you have experience with IFRS16, the financial reporting standard for leasing, then this will stand you in good stead for the position.
For this Financial Accountant position you will be a professionally qualified Accountant, with demonstrable experience in technical financial accounting and have an adaptable and enthusiastic approach to work, in a busy and changing environment.
