Management Accountant

Salary: £48,000 – £54,000 per year

Anderson Knight is working closely with a manufacturing organisation based in the Fife area to recruit a Management Accountant. The role focusses heavily on business partnering responsibilities. Our client is open to qualified and QBE accountants.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for providing financial control and financial support to other teams within the business. The ideal candidate will have a background in manufacturing however this is not essential if you have previously worked in a fast-paced environment where tight deadlines have to be completed.

The main responsibilities the Management Accountant position entails are:

* Produce and provide manufacturing financial reports and analysis to budget

* Ownership of full manufacturing budget process

* Identifying any cost saving measures

* Preparation of monthly management accounts

* Work closely with operations to provide financial analysis

* Ensure all balance sheet and P&L accounts are properly analysed

To be considered for the position you must possess the following:

* An accountancy qualification (CIMA/CA/ACCA) QBE will also be considered

* Strong communication skills

* The ability to solve complex problems

* An outgoing personality

* A driven/motivated individual
