Part / Qualified Accountant

Salary: £48,000 per year

The Company:

A global business based in Sheffield are seeking to appoint a Part Qualified Accountant to work within their high calibre finance team for an exciting new role with lots of development opportunities. This role will fundamentally be overseeing the journal entry preparation, month-end close, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation. This role will also include more technical duties such as:

Working with the R&D management team to support with tax credit claims
Partnering non-financial departments on large projects
Supervising the AP transactions prior to the transfer to the GL
Review and reconcile VAT and prepare the quarterly return and payment.
Assist with internal and external audit
Processing the timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
Assist with preparation of detailed supporting documents for UK Corporation Tax.Profile:

3-5 years of relevant Accounting experience
Part qualified ACCA or CIMA
Very strong Excel and analytical skills required
Knowledge of UK GAAP – US GAAP desirableBenefits
