Junior Accountant

Salary: £27,600 – £30,000 per year

Sharp Consultancy are excited to be working with a unique accountancy practice based in Sheffield who are currently looking to recruit a Junior Accountant to join their team of experts.

The client, a modern firm of Chartered Accountants have a growing portfolio of clients, as a result, they are now looking to bring someone in the earlier stages of their career to work within their Business Services department. This will be a new role and give the successful applicant a brilliant opportunity to gain accounts production experience and complete their studies.

The ideal applicant will have experience working with an accountancy practice and be AAT level 3 qualified and want to go on to their level 4.

Duties and responsibilities
* Assisting with annual accounts production
* Managing the day-to-day bookkeeping duties for a portfolio of clients
* CT600s
* Handling any queries from clients or HMRC
* VAT returns
