Senior Accountant

Salary: £42,000 – £48,000 per year

A well-established Accountancy Practice based in Dorset is recruiting for a Senior Accountant to join their friendly team. This is a full time, permanent role with an immediate start. Working from the office 5 days a week.

Hours: Mon – Fri. 9am – 5pm

Salary range: £42,000 – £48,000

Responsibilities:

* Working and liaising directly with clients

* Day to day preparation of accounts, VAT returns and tax returns

* Assisting clients with day to day issues with accounting transactions and software, particularly cloud based systems and preparing for full Making Tax Digital (MTD)

* Supervising Junior members of staff in accounts and reviewing work

* Corporation Tax

Requirements:

* ACA/ACCA qualified/ Qualified by experience

* Working experience of Digita, Xero, Sage and Quickbooks would be beneficial

* 4 years’ experience within accounting preferred
