My client is one of the leading Commercial Fit-out Contractors seeking a Quantity Surveyor in the London area.

Key Experience and responsibilities:
– Quantity Surveyor must have at experience as a Quantity Surveyor working for a Main Contractor
– General duties for the Quantity Surveyor will include dealing with sub- contractors pricing works and materials
– Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor working on major projects
– Be able to interpret a brief from client or Senior Management and covert into a delivery plan
– As a Senior Quantity Surveyor you must understand and comply with business risk and project delivery
– Be a strong team player along with the ability to take lead as part of personal development of other Surveyors
– Represent the company in a professional and diligent manner.

Must have:
– MRICS
– Proven track record with Main Contractors
– Degree in Quantity Surveying
– Attention to detail.
– Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Experience working within a fast paced environment working with members of the board
– The ability to hold meetings with sub-contractors
– Organised, motivated and strong planning skills.
