Aca/Acca Accountant

A highly impressive Chartered Accountancy firm focused on providing accounting services for companies within the Technology sector is looking for an accountant to join their small be efficient team. Working closely with the directors of the firm you will exposure to the full remit of accountancy practices and be exposure to a level of commerciality not offered in many firms.

Responsibilities will include:
• Responsible for day to day management of a portfolio of clients, including phone calls and meetings with clients
• Independently prepare annual accounts and tax returns and assisting with specialist tax schemes including R&D tax credits and Patent Box
• Planning and completing audit assignments
• Assisting with consulting work (Valuations, M&A, Funding, Strategy, Share Schemes)
• Presenting to prospective clients
• Support management with ad hoc work to grow the practice

My client is looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2 years experience either within practice. You must be studying ACA or ACCA and study support to help complete your qualification will be provided. In additional you will have excellent communication skills and a solid understanding of balance sheet reconciliations and basic corporate tax issues. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a commercial setting and working closely with high calibre directors.
