Quality Goods-in Technician

Qulity Good-In Technician required for a temporary assignment to start immediately. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that incoming materials (ingredients and packaging) are processed in accordance with the company standards including, Physical sample checks, Supplier Kosher certification confirmation and relevant material movements on SAP.

Suitable candidates will be required to:
Submit specified ingredients for lab testing at a set frequency and record these results, dealing with any issues as they arise.
Raise concern about non-conforming materials using the correct procedure and follow through to completion, working closely and liaising with the Materials Specialist.
Be responsible for the upkeep of the Kosher certification database.
Ensure the release of ingredients and packaging within 48 hours.
Escalate non-conforming materials.

To be successful in this role you will have:
Relevant qualification or experience from working within a similar role within a food production environment
Knowledge of the basic requirements of Quality Management System (QMS) based on ISO 9001 or similar standards

This may lead to a longer term contract.
