Report to: Manufacturing Quality Manager
Hourly Rate: £15 – £16.8
Duration: Ongoing
I’m glad to bring you this exciting opportunity for the right person to join an excellent professional Manufacturing Quality Team in a growing business, in the Northampton area.
Duties:
* Working with the requirements set out by the quality management system, in line with company goals/objectives
* Assessing and inspecting incoming parts/goods
* Keep an eye on internal reworks (when necessary) to maintain the required quality standards.
* Liaise with the production teams, supporting and promoting quality improvement activities.
* Supporting all quality issue resolution activity in production areas, to provide support for AIRBUS NC/CAPA analysis.
* Final inspection of finished product, completion of FIS’s and ATP’s.
* Inspection, in support of customer requirements.
* Manage QC on shop floor.
* Contribute to trend analysis and line audit. Do your part to trend analysis, also line audit.
Requirements:
* At least 1-2 years of experience within a similar role.
* Proven ability to read Engineering Drawings including good knowledge of GD&T.
* Good level of understanding of Aircraft Interiors Cosmetic Guidelines.
* A working knowledge of First Article Inspection requirements (AS9102).
* Knowledge and Experience of Structured Problem solving tools such as 8D.
* Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (both verbal and written), with the ability to influence at all levels.
* Understanding and experience of NCR and MRB processes.
* Skills and experience with a Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM)
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
* Diligent, enthusiastic and driven, with an excellent work ethic, and a “can do” attitude.
* Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to work under pressure, prioritise and manage conflicting demands.
* Adaptable, quick thinking with the ability to make decisions under pressure
* Computer literate, with good knowledge of word and excel.
