A leading automotive engineering company based in Liverpool is currently looking for a Quality Engineer to join their team supporting customer quality and new product introduction.
The responsibilities of the Quality Engineer are as follows:
*Work closely with cross functional teams to support the introduction of new products
*Assist in driving improvement activities throughout the business
*Ensure accurate completion of PPAP documentation
*Work closely with customers on any concerns, ensuring corrective and preventative measures are introduced
*Day to day liaison with OEM’s as the first point of contact for quality enquires
*Work internally on continuous improvement activity to reduce quality concerns
*Compile PPAP documentation for NPI projects
The successful Quality Engineer will have the following skills/experience:
*Strong Quality Engineering background
*Customer liaison experience
*Strong problem solving skills – 8D, 5Y, PPS, etc.
*NPI experience APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, etc. is beneficial
*Knowledge of TS16949
*Excellent communication skills
