Field Service Engineer

Location: West Midlands and South area – 50/50% split home based /on the road
Salary: £26,000 – £30,000per year, DOE
Contract: Permanent, Full time: 37 hours (Variable to meet customer requirements)

Own Car required – Mileage paid

The Role:

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Field Engineer to join our Operations Team. Reporting to our Operations Manager, this role requires an engineer with a minimum of two years’ experience of field and/or remote installation of hardware and software on all operating systems.

Key responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• To undertake field visit installations for all our products
• To undertake remote installations for all our products.
• To ensure customers are fully trained to required competency level.
• To maintain continuous development of skills and knowledge of our products.

In order to be considered for this position, you will need to have the following:-

• Experience in working with processes and procedures
• Ability to identify problems and come up with appropriate solution
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to establish a good working relationship with customers
• Ability to work accurately and methodically, with keen attention to detail
• Good computer and IT Skills
• Ideally, experience of working within the telecoms industry
• Ideally, experience of working as part of a virtual team
