Field Service Engineer

Main Purpose of the Role:
The main duties of this role is to be able to carry out Machine Plant Diagnostics, Servicing and Repairs to JCB Construction, Agricultural, Industrial, Heavy Line and Recycling Equipment to the highest standard within the Dealership territory to new and existing Customers. This is a Customer facing role which requires you to build strong Customer relationships within the Service sector of business. You will need to promote and present a professional image and offer service solutions to our customers and frequently liaise with JCB Manufacturer. The objective of this role is to provide the Customer with a World Class level of Customer Service.

Duties/Responsibilities:

 Carry out repairs to a high standard presenting a World Class Service
 Build strong and positive relationships with our Customer Service Database
 To react to any customer needs quickly, effectively and efficiently
 Laptop technical diagnostics
 Operate PDA unit for full job information and write-up
 Continually look to develop yourself through JCB Training Courses and other Medias available
 Service and maintain JCB and other Equipment to the Manufactures specifications
 Provide World Class Customer Service
 Meet and exceed customer expectations whilst maintaining profitability.

Abilities, Skill Set and Experience:
Essential:
 Honest, reliable, trustworthy, good time keeper
 Ability to work on own initiative and/or as part of team
 Ability to communicate efficiently at all levels – verbally, in print and on the telephone
 Be able to manage time and projects effectively
 Have knowledge and experience in using Microsoft Office Software, ADP Computer System or similar
 Have extensive knowledge of the Company’s products and services and/or within similar Industry
 Have full driving and trailer licence and good driving record.

Desirable
 Proven record of working within a Customer facing environment
 Portfolio of Mechanical/Technical Training Certification
 Fork Lift Truck Driving Licence
 Trailer Licence
 First aid certificate or similar experience
