2nd Line IT Desktop Support / Rollout

Role
Our client in Leicester has a position available for a 2nd Line IT Support Engineer. You will provide a high level technical support of IT infrastructure projects, and manage any escalated tasks and issues to resolution.
Key Responsibilities
– Support activities, to include logging, investigating and resolving incidents
– Assist support, development and management of infrastructure
– Contribute to the improvement of service quality
– Provide regular, accurate and timely progress to the customer and management
– Managing support incidents and business expectations
– Provide support for internal / external firewall solutions
– Management of LAN / WAN infrastructure
Skills/Experience Required
– Solid experience in 2nd line desktop support
– Highly motivated, capable of self-motivation
– Active Directory, Exchange
– Windows XP, Windows 2000, 2003 Server
– Backup/storage support
– Network technologies
– BlackBerry Enterprise Server
