2nd line Support Engineer (IT Services)
Circa – £33,600-£42,000
West End, London
Our client, a leading and forward thinking IT service provider based in the vibrant West End of London, is recruiting a 2nd line support Engineer to join their growing company. Providing IT services to highly a highly prestigious client base in and around the City/West End.
2nd Line Support Engineer duties:
*Providing 2nd line support to a portfolio of prestigious clients based in the City and West End
*Ownership of cases relating
*Develop and build relations with a portfolio of around 250 Clients
*Attending client sites
*Performance monitoring to ensure servers are working to standard
*Security Sweeps on client networks
*Patch and firmware management
*Backup monitoring, implantation and testing
*Management of networks/administer a variety of server operating systems and technologies
*Software deployment and Management
*Disaster Recovery Management and Maintenance
*Willing to undergo further training
Technical knowledge required:
*Windows Server 2003/2008/2010
*Linux
*Microsoft Exchange Server 2010
*Layer 3 networking
*VmWare VCenter Server (Creation and installation of virtual Servers)
Attributes:
*At least 2 years experience in IT
*Degree in an IT related subject essential!
*Microsoft qualifications
*Excellent interpersonal skills
*Willingness to grow and develop (Training will be provided)
