Material Coordinator

Salary: £32,400 per year

SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Material Coordinator for an amazing business based in Shirebrook. This is a fantastic role, joining a small but friendly team and working within a great environment. This role would be suitable for someone who has the ability to adapt quickly to new business processes, can manage their own workload and work within timescales. 

This is an excellent opportunity to join a very busy and lively business, personality is a big thing for this business as they are a small team and work very closely together.

Typical duties can include: 

– Identifying Buying requirements and raising purchase orders
– Troubleshooting daily supply issues whilst maintaining professional internal and external communication
– Development and maintenance of supplier relationships (including price negotiation)
– Working in close liaison with the Technical and NPD teams regarding the sourcing of new ingredients/suppliers as needed
– Liaising with Warehouse colleagues on the receipt, storage and transfer of raw materials
– Implementing and monitoring supplier performance reviews
– Resolving supplier invoice queries/disputes by communicating and problem solving collaboratively with colleagues
– Actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives (collation and analysis of supplier quotes and terms of business with suppliers)
– Providing support and cover for the Buyers and Supply Chain Coordinators as required
– Tracking and expediting orders to ensure timely delivery (booking incoming deliveries and collating proof of deliveries)

This is a permanent role, Monday for Friday, the business hours are between 8:00am to 6:00pm and you can work between these hours (flex on start and finish times).
