Material Coordinator

Salary: £26,000 per year

Our client has an opportunity for the right candidate to join their manufacturing team, acting as the material coordinator responsible for co-coordinating and handling materials ensuring a fast, reliable and accurate service. Responsibilities also expanding to assist in completing manufacturing operations and improvement projects. The successful candidate will need to hold valid FLT licences for both Reach and Counterbalance. 

Main Tasks:

• Picking parts to daily requirements and deliver to locations.

• Manual picking/packing. 

• Loading and unloading material from machines. 

• To carry out all reasonable requests issued by the Team Leaders. 

• Must comply with all safety requirements and adhere to and always follow the Company’s Health & Safety procedures. 

• Flexibility to be able to move to manufacturing operations as and when required. 

• To promote good customer service by networking with key stakeholders to ensure a fast and reliable service. 

• Carry out your work in accordance with ISO 9001 procedures.

• Adhere to the Company policies and procedures. 

• Ensure that the department is kept suitably clean and tidy. 

Education, Experience and Skills: 

• A forklift reach and counterbalance licenses are required. 

• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is desirable. 

• PC Literate (Microsoft).
