PRODUCTION MANAGER

A significant opportunity exists to join our manufacturing operation in a key management role.

We are an established yet evolving design, development and manufacturer of market leading products going through a period of significant investment and innovation to deliver our targeted growth plans. As a result of this we are seeking a results driven Production Manager with strong lean expertise to undertake a pivotal role within the business.

As Production Manager, you will take a lead role in defining our lean strategy for production in conjunction with the senior management team. As such, there is the opportunity to transform the company’s approach to manufacturing and improve productivity and profits.

Utilising your electro-mechanical assembly Production Management expertise you will be responsible for:

Day to day management of the Production team, managing and driving the effectiveness and efficiency of our manufacturing operation encompassing resource management and planning and work flow control

Utilising your lean / continuous improvement expertise to identify areas for improvement and then work with your teams to lead and deliver results and foster a positive environment for change

Researching new technologies and alternative methods of efficiency.

To succeed in this role you will be an HND / Degree qualified (or with commensurate experience) Production Manager with a track record of delivering sustainable results in an electro-mechanical assembly or related manufacturing environment. Lean Manufacturing / continuous improvement / six sigma experience and proven production management expertise essential.
