Overview
We have 1 LIVE permanent role for a Multi-national FMCG organisation recruiting NOW! A fantastic opportunity has arisen to manage a production team within a growing site, with major projects taking place.
As a Production Manager you will be required to lead a busy production team. Creating maximum impact on site, is something required which could lead to massive opportunities with the organisation. This company is market leader, with a leading product supplied across the UK.

Job Description
As a Production Manager you will be responsible for the following:
* Managing and developing a team of 150 Multi disciplined staff..
* Introducing CI and lean manufacturing to the company.
* Driving the team forward including introducing new processes
* Excellent ability in production including the management of all key performance Indicators of Quality, Efficiency and Productivity.
* Leading and managing the production facility in line with all current health and safety legislation and in accordance with company policy and procedures.
* Facilitating Projects
* Working with other department to achieve joint results.
Essential Skills
Candidate should have experience / skills / background in:
* Experience of modern manufacturing techniques including lean manufacturing and ideally six sigma.
* Experience in managing a large team of production staff.
* Experience and proven track record in change management within existing teams.
In return, for working on day shift we are offering a yearly rate ££54,000, Pension, healthcare.
