Material Planner

Salary: £18 – £20.4 per hour

This role represents an excellent opportunity to join a blue chip, global OEM within Staffordshire with a very strong brand, experiencing continued extensive growth and development, currently going through an exciting time in terms of new products and technology.

Due to increased business levels, there is now a requirement for a Material Planner to join the Material management function to support the planned increase in supply & demand logistics. Initially this will be on a temporary basis but will be ongoing and could lead to a permanent role.

The key element for candidates for this role is energy, enthusiasm and a keen sense of urgency, with the confidence and ability to talk with suppliers via the telephone to ensure on time and efficient delivery of products for production.

Solid operational administrative experience with strong Excel skills is also required for this role and it is vital that you have a good attention to detail and be able to work with minimum supervision.

Excellent communication skills are vital as you will be dealing and building relationships with key suppliers as well as internal colleagues.
