Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

Salary: £60,000 – £66,000 per year

Technique Recruitment Solutions specialises in recruitment for manufacturing industries across East Anglia and is working on behalf of a global machinery manufacturer based in Norwich. They have a new opportunity for a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join their organisation. The role will be responsible for the Norwich management accounts team KPI’s and objectives in line with functional business plan as well as completing budget and forecast processes for rest of world (ROW) entities in accordance with timetables. The successful candidate will ideally be qualified to CIMA level or equivalent and able demonstrate experience in a similar role within a manufacturing organisation
Key Accountabilities
Responsible for the activities of the Norwich management accounts team
Consistent delivery of accurate, insightful business reporting and commentary
Accurate entity budget and forecast modelling, meeting internal and corporate deadlines
Effective business partnering support to operations and management teams
Lead cross functional projects to successful, on target delivery
Key Duties and Responsibilities
High awareness of the corporate objectives demonstrated in all activities
Leading, motivating, and developing the Norwich management accounting team, ensuring aligned with the functional business plan
Align tactical focus and approach with Financial Accountant and Corporate Treasurer, to ensure Norwich Finance is operating as one team
Understand, embed, and communicate functional KPI’s
Prepare monthly entity management accounts, analysing and communicating performance to management
Ensure the management accounts team deliver accurate, timely data that drives facts-based decision making
Support FC / DOF with monthly consolidated financial performance review, presenting detailed gross margin reports and commentary
Support FC with preparation of corporate dashboard metrics, including CPT and PPT analysis
Preparation of accurate insurance and board reports
Business partner with operations and management teams providing value adding insight
Assist Financial Controller and Director of Finance with managing all aspects to the ROW budget and forecast process, including deliverables, communications, and timetables
Maintain robust budget and forecast modelling templates
Finance superuser of business reporting and planning tools, including ongoing continuous improvement
Maintain integrity of finance owned, live business reporting
Assist FC / DOF with delivering finance strategic projects, being a primary support for ERP and local team training requirements
Deliver finance projects building cross functional teams, managing scope and ensuring clear stakeholder communications
Attend operational market management group meetings, providing finance support as
