Role details:

Brand new opportunity with my client based in the South West who is looking for a Development Management Planning Manager on an interim basis. The focus of the role will be to provide strategic management of the Development Management Service with the Town Planning Department.

Other key Requirements:

Support the achievement of the strategic planning team objectives and review the council’s development plan
Deliver the development initiatives to ensure that the residents of the council have full access to future opportunities
Ensure that the development management service is running efficiently to meet the demands of the residents, businesses, investors and businesses
Oversee the day to day management of the team whilst effectively communicating with Planning Enforcement
As part of your previous experience, you will have worked for a Local Authority or a public agent. It would be advantageous if you hold an RTPI or equivalent qualification. The role will be for a minimum of 6 months whilst the Local Authority recruit permanently with most of the work being able to be carried out remotely.
