Strategic Planning & Demand Manager
Location: Seascale, Cumbria
Working hours: Monday – Friday, Full time
Salary: £39.6 – £48Per Hour Dependent on Experience
Duration: 12 Month Contract

Objective

Our client is responsible for delivering safe nuclear decommissioning, waste management and commercial operations. They are seeking an experienced Site Service Cell Team Member to Liaise with plant representatives and SSC (Site Service Cell) Work Coordinators to confirm future delivery work demands from the Operating Units

Deliverables (for contract)

Your responsibilities will include;

Liaising with plant / facility representatives to define all future delivery work demands from the Operating Units (OU).
Co-ordinating the inputs for the Integrated schedule (3+3) into standard format and required level of detail for both internal and supply chain schedules.
Maximising the use of all internal resources through early identification of OU needs and knowledge of internal capability / capacity. Take ownership in selling the capability of SL resource and provide an intelligent link with the OUs.
Advising the OU’s on the correct / most efficient delivery routes.
Identifying innovative, new or under utilised services and cascade to the OU’s.
Tracking all efficiencies and savings through the Site Service Cell Benefits Tracker.
Undertaking OU specific and site wide analysis of critique reports and feedback to OU / take required action.
Liaising with Superintending Officers (SO’s) and Contract Officers (CO’s) regarding performance of existing frameworks and contract agreements, identify key improvement areas and feed information and knowledge into OU’s.
Undertaking regular analysis of OU spends and commitments to ensure continued adherence to use of correct internal or external route.
Enforcing and policing the Site Service Cell process standards within the OU’s, ensure stakeholders are engaged for optimum delivery.
Being proficient in the application of all Company appropriate SLP’s, working practices and approved IT systems.
Working within the Integrated Project Teams to quantify scope, strategies and interdependencies to ensure scope is defined and the correct delivery routes are utilised.
Collating and monitoring Key Performance Indicators for the Site Service Cell processes and ensure they are communicated to appropriate levels of the organisation in support of site wide business targets.
Integrating and assuring data, responsibility to maintain/improve quality and standards.
Adopting the rolling wave planning principle of short term detail schedules progressively moving forward with regular updates.
Identifying and tracking all changes or potential changes to the agreed scope, ensuring schedule impact are given immediate visibility with appropriate personnel.
Monitoring and reporting status’s and trends, including areas of concern on current baseline position.
Maintaining relationships with IWM Organisation, Commercial, Project Controls Planning Capability and Planners within Project Controls to drive to required standards and quality level.
Reviewing schedule status’s ensuring that all potential options have been considered and evaluated.
Providing effective feedback loop that drives continual process improvements and encourages clear, timely and accurate communication.

Essential/Desirable Skills

The successful candidate will possess;

Nuclear Experience would be desirable.
Drive, enthusiasm and self motivation in the delivery of improvements.
Good communication skills.Project Management experience would be advantageous
