Are you a successful 1st/2nd Line Engineer looking for a fresh challenge?

I have a client based in Wokingham who is looking for an 1st/2nd Line Engineer on a permanent basis and they are offering a salary ranging between £28,800and £28,000 based on experience.

1st/2nd Line Engineer Duties

• Administer and maintain internal and external IT infrastructure, including network connectivity, internet access and associated systems
• 1st and 2nd level Desktop, Server & Network support
• Administer Multiple MS Windows XP/7/8/10 PC’s
• Administer multiple MS Exchange 20xx, Active Directory 20xx, Windows 20xx servers
• Some VMware 5.x Administration

1st/2nd Line Engineer Skills Required

• Excellent knowledge and experience in the troubleshooting of Windows Desktop OS’s
• Proficient knowledge and experience in the troubleshooting of networking protocols and technologies.
• Proficient knowledge of network structures, components, operating systems, security procedures.
• Some experience with PDQ Inventory & Deploy or any software deployment tools useful
• Some experience in supporting and administering FileMaker useful but not essential
• Some knowledge of VMware vSphere useful but not essential.
