Salary: £30,000 – £33,600 per year
My client is a leading IT Support company based in Yateley providing IT support too small to medium enterprises, third sector and the educational market. They are seeking a 2nd Line IT support engineer to join their team.
The successful candidate will have a good knowledge of the following areas:
- MS Operating Systems XP-Windows 8
- MS Server operating systems 2003-2012
- Networking TCP/IP
- Routing, Firewalls, Anti-Virus varied product ranges
- WatchGuard, Cisco, HP, PowerShell, and many types of hardware
- MYSQL, PHP, and Web based languages and advantage
- MS Exchange Server 2003-2013
Applicants need to be a motivated with good working knowledge of all areas of IT support and products/technologies. In depth experience is critical as many of our clients have demanding and unique requirements for the support and hardware/software aspects of their contracts.
Good organisational skills and customer service are also very important.

Qualifications in the following areas are preferred but not essential providing the candidate can prove competence:
- Microsoft MCP
- MCTS
- MCSE
- MCITP
A company car\van will be provided after an initial 3 month probationary period.
We are offering a salary in the region of £30,000 – £33,600depending on experience.
