Our client is a well-established firm with several offices across the North West and is seeking a proven Construction Solicitor to join their Preston office. Our client has become a well-renowned establishment by maintaining a close network of clients, whilst branching out to new clients and creating strong relationships over time.

The role itself will involve you running your own Construction caseload, where you will be dealing with high profile developers, contractors and financiers operating within the Construction and engineering industry and will be involved with both contentious and non-contentious work.
You will also be capable of proactively undertaking business development for the department, whilst servicing existing client relationships.

As an ideal candidate, you will have at least 4 years of proven Construction Solicitor experience, dealing with both contentious and non-contentious work.
You will be comfortable partaking in business development activities and will have excellent communication and organisational skills to compliment this.
Impeccable technical and verbal skills are essential, as are people and time management abilities.
Knowledge of Microsoft office suite and case management systems is vital to this demanding role, with a high attention to detail being essential.
A driven and ambitious individual is vital for this demanding role.
This role is within a fast paced environment and requires exceptional file management skills with a good level of attention to detail to ensure efficiency.

Our client envisages that candidates with 4 years PQE or above will have the relevant skills/knowledge for this position, however this has been given as an approximate guide for applicants and our client is happy to consider the applications of candidates who fall outside of this PQE range but who have the relevant experience.
