Senior Construction Health and Safety Manager

Salary: £66,000 – £78,000 per year

Midlands – West and East Region

Due to expansion our principal contractor client has a superb NEW opportunity for a Senior HSEQ Manager to join an already successful team who pride themselves on safe delivery of outstanding construction projects nationally.

Reporting directly to the HSEQ Director you will be supporting project teams based in and round the Midlands. (Hotel, apartments, student accommodation builds etc)

This privately owned organisation holds an excellent reputation amongst their high-profile client base and strive to always excel in quality project delivery. Essentially, they are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic safety professional who can reflect this ethos and support the already excellent safety culture that exists. There will be between 2 – 4 direct reports too.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience working internally for a Principal Contractor with experience of complex large scale construction projects of up to £100m. High-rise vertical builds.

Essential requirements

* NEBOSH Diploma Minimum (or equivalent)

* CMIOSH membership level (or working towards if have the experience)

* Proven experience of complex large-scale construction build projects

* Experience of working with a principal contractor, concrete frame build

* Experience of Construction hazards

* Full UK Driving Licence

* Strong engagement skills at all levels

* Engaging and able to influence, guide, coach.

Desirable Requirements

* Behavioural Safety Programme Coaching experience

* Team leader experience

* Proactive employee Wellbeing development experience

Potential Package includes:

* Base Salary Range £66,000 – £78,000with a generous car allowance & annual bonus
