Our client is a well established contractor working on commercial and residential refurbishment projects. The company work predominantly in London and the Northern Home Counties on refurbishment projects. Project sizes range from £500K to £2 million. As an experienced Quantity Surveyor you will use previous knowledge of delivering refurbishment projects to deliver the commercial functions on London based projects.

ROLE:

* Procurement

* Monthly progress reporting

* Provide regular budget updates

* Analyse subcontractor quotations

* Prepare cost / value reconciliation

* Assisting with negotiated tendering

* Budget preparation and cost planning

* Compiling and issuing interim valuations

* Ensure contract cash flows are maximised

* Producing and issuing sub-contract enquiries

* Reporting to the commercial lead and/or Regional Commercial Manager

* Overseeing subcontract accounts from procurement to final account

* Liaise closely with the project team and assist in commercial matters ensuring the highest possible margins are achieved with minimised costs.

CANDIDATE:

* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management / relevant studies is essential.

* Previous experience of refurbishment projects is essential

* Must live within easy access of the A12 corridor and London
