In recent times our client has become a premium grocery brand in the UK. Their delectable products are only available under their brand name, they do not manufacture own label products. The manufacturing plant has received recent investment and is now fully automated with high speed production lines. The Role of a Maintenance Team Leader:
As a maintenance team leader you will be getting involved in liaising closely with the production team leaders and organise and co-ordinate breakdowns and maintenance schedules. You will be getting heavily involved with the projects team to ensure that the plant running at maximum efficiencies. The maintenance team leader will need to drive a culture of continuous improvement throughout their team of skilled engineers. The team leader will be responsible for the coaching and development of the engineering team, and set objectives and targets for their engineers which will involve quarterly appraisals to ensure that they are getting better and better.

Key Skills:
The ideal candidate would need to have an engineering background and be apprentice trained. You can be either electrically or mechanically biased and have strong knowledge of process, health and safety and continuous improvements. You will need to possess strong leadership and management skills as you will be leading a team of 16 – 20 engineers at any one time.

Salary: Circa £54,000
