This role is well suited to an ambitious and motivated individual with previous experience of working in the flooring industry or a Construction / Engineering office.
Our client is a well established flooring contractor based in the Norwich area. Working on both domestic and commercial flooring solutions, the company have an excellent reputation for delivering to their customers. The role has come about due to organic growth.
They have a strong track record of nurturing and mentoring motivated individuals and this is an exciting opportunity to join a company who are happy to offer training and further development for candidates early on in their career.
Your role will be to:
- Management of floor fitters and ceramic tilers
- Job sheet production including picking lists
- Purchasing materials for secured work
- Site meetings with clients
- Labour resourcing and workforce management
- On site scope management ensuring our labour know what is involved
- Site visits prior to commencing work to ensure conditions are correct
- Stock management level control working alongside our storeman
- Production of site health and safety documentation
- General administration
- Tender pricing and submission
- Prestart meetings
- Valuations and applications
- Invoice creation alongside our accounts department
- Salaries / sign off with our accounts department for our weekly paid staff
- General administration
