Salary: £42,000 – £54,000 per year
Carpet Roles UK are delighted to be assisting their clients, a leading West Midlands based Commercial Flooring Contractors in their search for an experienced Commercial Flooring Estimator to join their team based in North West Birmingham.
The Company:
* Well Established (15 Years+) Specialist Flooring Contractors.
* Supply all types of Commercial Flooring, Hygenic Wall Cladding etc.
* Supply across many sectors including Education, Commercial, Healthcare, Leisure and Retail clients.
* A talented and well respected team with the experience to get the job done every time!
The Role:
* Work with our Clients Estimating Manager in all aspects of estimating for commercial flooring and hygienic wall cladding.
* Receive enquiries, evaluate requirements, and prepare information for pricing, including liaising with suppliers to establish material costs.
* Measure quantities from drawings using Callidus software or undertake site surveys to establish accurate quantities.
* Prepare detailed quotations, with bills of quantities and ensure complete and accurate submission to Client.
* Be able to locate and price alternative value engineered options that meet specification and offer cost savings.
* Follow up completed quotations and negotiate with Clients to secure orders.
* Handover secured projects with detailed financial and project information to the contracts team.
* Develop relationships with customers, suppliers, and manufacturers.
The Person:
* Experienced in Contract / Commercial Flooring.
* Good product knowledge of all Flooring and Cladding Products.
* Strong relationships within Commercial Flooring and the wider Construction Industry.
* Commercially minded.
* Analytical.
* Confident and Enthusiastic.
* Ability to Negotiate.
* Strong communicator.
* Attention to detail.
* Team player.
* Competent use of Microsoft Excel.
* Full clean driving licence.
The Rewards:
* Our Clients are offering a negotiable Basic Salary in the range £42,000 – £54,000.
* Bonus Incentive Scheme with excellent potential OTE.
* 26 Days Holiday (increases with Service).
