Salary: £36 per hour
Benchmark Recruitment are working with a market leading contractor who continues to enjoy growth and is now seeking an experienced Civils Quantity Surveyor to join their team working on a £30m infrastructure scheme in Bedfordshire.
As a Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for:
• Procurement of subcontract packages
• Commercial management of subcontract packages
• Issuing of main contract notices on time
• Administration and valuation of contract change / compensation events
• Identify and input into value engineering
• Maintain project forecast
• Aid in the preparation of assessments and applications for payment
• Agreement of final accounts with support of the SQS and the project team.
The successful candidate must have a background of working on civils infrastructure projects along with:
• Good IT skills in MS Word and Excel
• an eye for detail
• Self-motivated
• Full Clean UK Driving License
