Finance Assistant

Salary: £33,600 per year

FINANCE ASSISTANT
STOKE ON TRENT AREA
PERMANENT
FULL TIME
UP TO £28K DOE PLUS BONUS

THE ROLE

* All aspects of Purchase Ledger

* Sales Ledger cash allocation and Invoice Finance

* Preparation of supplier payment runs

* Responsible for credit card payments and reconciliation

* Multiple bank account reconciliations

* Intercompany reconciliations and recharges

* Control Account, Balance sheet and Payroll reconciliations

* Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts, VAT reporting and in the completion of budgets and forecasts

* Creating ad hoc financial reports

* Managing the monthly recharge process

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

* Previous experience in a similar role is essential

* A good level of MS Excel skills

* Excellent communication skills

* AAT Level 4 or be Qualified by Experience

* Knowledge of Sage, Xero and Eque2 would be desirable

* Experience of Intercompany transactional accounting would be advantageous
