We are working with our client based in Barnstaple to help find them a Finance Assistant to work on a fixed-term contract until 2023.

The Purpose of the Role of the Finance Assistant

To assist the Asset Works and Financial Auditor to manage invoicing process with response repairs contractors

To assist the audit completed repairs for works quality, including assessing the accuracy adequacy of the repairs diagnosis, ensuring the most appropriate schedule of items are used

To provide full admin support to the Asset Works and Financial Auditor to include written and verbal communication to customers and contractors

Key Responsibilities for the Finance Assistant

To provide Financial and Administrative support

To assist with audits and processing invoices

Audit completed works

Processing completed works orders and invoices

checking and reconciliation of batched invoices

Deal with enquiries from customers and contractors concerning repairs

Person Specification for the Finance Assistant

Experience within Finance and Administration

Excellent interpersonal skills

Excellent IT skills

Numerical and Literate

The Hours

Monday to Friday 37 hours per week

The Pay

Up to £26,000 per year
