Human Resources Manager

Salary: £36,000 – £48,000 per year

Platform Resourcing are currently working in partnership with a Manufacturing and Processing business based in the Cwmbran area. Our client are currently looking to appoint a Human Resources Manager to oversee the business function and people management.

The suitable candidate will either be an experienced Human Resources Manager or a Senior HR Business Partner looking to progress their career within a company who have grown during this most difficult of times.

This is very much a hands on role, understanding the business challenges and the culture that has made this business a success. This role will also however allow you to make necessary changes and implement improvements in the HR Processes and Procedures. This key role will be fast paced where your improvement will be measured and you will gain reward by seeing how your actions directly improve the businesses performance.

Qualifications Required:

* CIPD or FCIPD in Human Resources – Desirable

Experience Required:

* HR Management Experience – Essential

* Health & Safety Management Experience – Desirable

Duties and Responsibilities

* HR and people management

* To ensure that all HR processes and procedures are implemented

* Performance Manager in partnership with Management team

* Developing new policies ensuring that the business retains the high levels of compliance

* Drafting of new company policies as and when required

* Talent Management and Recruitment

* To set KPI’s in respect of performance to be reviewed at regular times

* To manage a wide range of daily HR challenges and requests

* To lead a range of special HR projects in partnership with the management team

* To maintain, monitor and establish effective health and safety policies and procedures ensuring compliance with legislation and good practice.

* Ensure all employees receive health and safety information during their Induction and are trained in all health and safety procedures and follow the correct accident reporting procedure.

* Respond to any safety concerns

* To ensure that an excellent accidents, incidents and near misses are effectively managed and recorded

* Ensuring that any changes in employment legislation and case law are communicated effectively
